Paul's Blog

Scott Magdalein here! I got a request from our Pastor to post something useful here. So, here you go!

Pastor Paul has been blogging for a while here. If you've ever read one of his posts, you know that he offers incredible insights here on a regular basis. But, since I've been reading, I noticed a shortcoming that needs to be fixed. And, just like anything in life, it all starts with education.

What's the problem? There are way too few comments. I'm not sure if that means you're missing some posts or just don't know how to leave a comment, so I'm going to take this chance to teach you all something very "unspiritual" and practical.

    How to:

    * comment on a post. - To comment on a blog post, all you need to do is click the link at the bottom of the post that's next to the date the post was published. It's the link that tells you how many comments have been submitted so far.

When you click it, a form will appear asking for your name, email (or URL if you own a website/blog) and your comment. Below that, you'll see another line asking you to "Enter the code you see below:" This is "Captcha" and it helps stop computers that automatically leave comments on blog (like spam for blogs). Once you've done all that, click the "Submit Your Comment" button and you're done!

    * get new posts emailed to you automatically. - Go to the blog page and look  in the right sidebar. You'll see two links in small, white letters toward the top of the sidebar. You should see a link that says, "Click here to receive new posts in your email."

All you have to do is click the link. Then you'll be taken to a different site that allows you to input your email address, do the "captcha" thing and click "Complete Subscription Request." Voila! You're done.

I hope this post was helpful for you. In fact, if you learned something new today, why not give it a try right now. Leave a comment or subscribe to get posts emailed to you automatically.
